Before You Leave Miller Beach House

As you complete your stay at the house, we ask that you leave it in at least as good of condition as you found it. The following list (posted at the house) is intended to help you in this regard:

  • Run dishwasher (empty dishwasher if possible)

  • Wash and dry house linens/towels/etc.

  • Vacuum house (empty vacuum when done)

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms

  • Sweep kitchen floor, bathroom floors, and downstairs entryway

  • Take out trash (including smaller trash cans in bedrooms/restrooms)

    • Be sure blue trash can is placed roadside (northeast corner of property)

    • Trash collection day is Wednesday

  • Close curtains upstairs

  • Turn thermostat to ~55˚F

  • Lock French doors to deck upstairs (top and bottom bolts)

  • Lock downstairs door (deadbolt and handle)

Please Note:

Renters are always responsible for cleaning out the refrigerator, taking out the trash, doing all laundry and any other “non-cleaning” tasks on the list above. Keep in mind, renters may be coming in the same day as you are departing and make arrangements accordingly. We recommend bringing your own sheets and towels to facilitate laundry, but these are available at the house.
